Human Rights Management Policy

Human Rights Management Policy

In order to do our best to achieve corporate sustainability management goals, Foosung Co., Ltd. respects all employees and stakeholders, fulfills the responsibilities and duties of protecting human rights, and applies this policy to all employees and all subcontractors doing business with us.

1. Prohibition of Forced Labor

All work shall be voluntary labor from free will and all forms of forced labor are prohibited. We do not keep employee's personal documents such as government issued identification or work permits, etc. as a condition of employment.

2. Prohibition of Child Labor

We comply with the legal age requirements for employment and do not employ children under the age of 15 (or the children age standards under each country and region labor relations act), and for this, we verify the age of all new employees. If we hire an employee under the age of 18, that employee will not be given hazardous work for Occupational Health & Safety reasons, and we continuously check the compliance of restrictions on night shift and overtime work.

3. Prohibition of Discrimination

In terms of personnel practices such as employment, wage, promotion, reward, education, disciplinary action, etc., we will under no circumstances conduct unjust discrimination based on race, nationality, age, gender, sexual identity, ethnicity, disability, pregnancy, religion, political tendency, union member or not, marital status, etc.

4. Prohibition of Workplace Bullying and Sexual Harassment

We prohibit workplace bullying and sexual harassment, regularly conduct workplace bullying and sexual harassment precautionary education, and in case of a victim report, immediately conduct protective measures and quick investigation. In addition, disciplinary actions are taken against the offender and measures to prevent any recurrence are prepared.

5. Freedom of Association

Employees may organize and join unions at their own free will in accordance with the local country laws, and we will not dismiss that employee nor treat that employee unfairly. We respect the rights of collective bargaining, peaceful assembly, and freedom of association with other employees. In addition, we also respect the rights of an employee not participating in such activities.

6. Guarantee wage and welfare benefits

Wages paid to employees fully comply with the local country's laws and regulations, which include minimum wage, overtime pay, statutory welfare benefits, etc., and are paid on a set date with a salary statement.

7. Management of Working Hours

Working hours comply with and do not exceed the statutory working hours and break time of the local country's laws.

8. Guaranteee Occupational Health & Safety

Employee's health and safety is guaranteed in accordance to the local country's laws and regulations, and elimination of risk factors in the workplace, precautionary activities, and occupational health & safety education, etc. are executed.

9. Responsible Supply Chain Management

We do not use conflict minerals that have restrictions on use due to serious concerns about violation of human rights and destruction of the environment by the international community, and comply with the management standards required by the international community.

10. Protection of Stakeholders (Shareholders, Customers, Subcontractors, Local Residents, Employees, Vulnerable Social Group, and etc.) Rights

Throughout our business activities, we take appropriate measures to ensure that stakeholders' human rights such as occupational health & safety, property, environment, etc. are not violated, and take the best course of actions for personal information protection.

11. Humane Treatment

We make efforts to prevent any inhumane treatments such as sexual harassment, sexual abuse, physical punishment, mental or physical coercion, mistreatment, abusive language, etc., to all employees, and do not threaten with an inhumane treatment action and take stern measures if any inhumane behavior occurs.
